This area was initially a large irrigation district, and later a large piece of land was officially granted for irrigational purposes by the Bureau of Land Management. This place is famous for its cherry pies. A fun fact about this place is that the world’s most enormous cherry pie is baked here every Fourth of July. History of the Area

An irrigational state has a large amount of land dedicated to cherry farming, and most of the land given to this city granted by the Bureau of Land Management was volunteered by Charlie Brown. He invested all of his own money in this project for the prosperity of this area.
